Magic Monkey Box is a add-on WiFi box for 3D printers. It enables you to 3d print from anytime anywhere through internet or local network. Magic Monkey can slice, store, edit ,print and monitor your 3D files from a browser or mobile phone.

Can I use Magic Monkey without internet connection?

The Magic Monkey need internet to active, once activated you can use it with online or offline mode. Just make sure your Magic Monkey and your PC or mobile are within the same LAN.

Is your software open source?

No, not yet, but it will be, we plan to open source the software gradually.

Certainly Yes, Magic Monkey supports compatible USB Camera,you can simply plugin and start to monitor your 3d printer.

How do I update my magic monkey software?

When there is a new release, Magic Monkey can update automatically if connected with internet. You can always update it manually if you prefer.

What cameras can I use with Magic Monkey?

Basically USB cameras compatible with Linux will be OK for Magic Monkey

What kind of plug do you support?

We support US, UK, Europe and China plugs, if your local plug is not compatible , sorry for the inconvenience, but you can always buy one from a local electronic store, or amazon or ebay. It is cheap! Just make sure it is 2A 5V and the end of it has a microUSB plug.
